Founded in 2008 Akira Nitsche in picturesque Maastricht. An accomplished entrepreneur with a Bachelor's degree in IT and a qualified beautician, Akira has had an impressive journey in the world of permanent makeup in recent years.

From her earliest days in the industry, Akira has distinguished herself as one of the top 5 beauticians in the Netherlands. Where she already came into contact with Permanent Makeup. Her teaching journey began at the Beauty School in Belgium, where she trained future beauticians for 5 years.

During her career, she has secured exclusive distribution agreements with leading brands from the UK, France, US and Poland, giving her insight into international business.

Akira was a pioneer in the rise of Microblading. She became one of the first to be trained by the founding fathers themselves, and soon introduced her own creative pixel technique known as OMBRE BROWS. Her skills were internationally recognized, and she was invited to present at conferences and train artists in several countries, Serbia, Germany, Spain, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon and Thailand.

Akira's dedication to sharing knowledge is reflected in her career, where she has trained more than a thousand students as cosmetologists and permanent makeup artists around the world. Her background as a licensed esthetician and certified teacher gives her a unique perspective and makes her one of the most respected permanent makeup educators.

In addition to her successful salon & academy in Hasselt, Belgium, Akira has focused on developing high-quality PMU products. This resulted in the launch of Blend. PMU with a team of professionals spread all over the world, a brand, Terra Collection, Correctors line, Texture Tint, Art Touch and Pro Brushes that complies with the REACH guidelines and is now distributed worldwide.

Akira's dedication to lifelong learning, pigment research and the global will for healthier living brought the permanent makeup world the Blend. PMU.
